Chair of the WYEN

Dr. Alexandra Vallon-Eberhard

«Science is what has led our society to the present day, where new advances translate into new technologies, by challenging us to find truths beyond our expected outcomes. We learn that impactful ideas in Science aren’t successful just because we are passionate about them, but most importantly, the evidence overwhelmingly validates and supports them. Building this body of knowledge, we constantly remain open to the possibility that our best theories and models may be wrong and ready to revise what we previously thought we knew.

It is up to all of us to write our own future with Science by asking questions and listening to answers no matter what they are. This is striving for excellence in Science, these are the seeds for humanity that we plant and nurture at the Weizmann Institute of Science.»

We broaden our scientific horizons through the Institute’s well of resources; and we empower tomorrow’s young professional leaders to be curious, open-minded, and passionate about science and science education.
